Mumu has partnered with the talented women at CARE FOR KENYA (www.careforkenya.org) to create this amazing tote! Each handmade tote is produced by women in Kenya from local fabrics to help generate a reliable and sustainable income for these women who are deeply affected by HIV/AIDS and have limited work capabilities.
All proceeds of this tote will not only be direct towards expanding the program in the hopes of reaching more and more vulnerable women in Kenya, but a large contribution will be given back to the women of Kibera who have contributed their time and hard work to the line.The Kenyan based productions of the Show me your Mumu – Care For Kenya Collection will generate income to a group of women entrepreneurs in Kibera, the largest slum in Nairobi, Kenya.
